Where can I find a purple leather journal, portfolio & woman's attache' case?
I saw one of my teacher with a purple attache case with a strap. It was big enough to put a lap top in. Also, she had a 9 x 12 pad portfilio. I asked her where she purchased it from, I wanted to get my daughter one, but she said it was a gift to her and she didn't know. I have looked at some places on the internet, but with no results.

  5. QUESTION:
What type of portfolio (art/graphic design) case do you use to hold your work?
Some people use the clear plastic sheets in a binder, some people mount their art onto matt board/foamcore and carry in a large metal or leather case... what is most acceptable these days?

    • ANSWER:
The most acceptable is a binder with plastic sheets. I use the Kolo Calvin Presentation Book, which you can find here: http://www.dickblick.com/zz152/15/

One thing to mention is make sure the book itself stands out. Personalize it in some way but keep it professional. With the Kolo Calvin I use, there is a cut out square on the front where I can insert a logo or a close-up of one of my artworks. There are lots of other very nice presentation books on the market so check out the rest at the Dick Blick website or your local art supply store. Hope this helps!

  7. QUESTION:
    Good Leather/Nylon Shoulder Bag/Portfolio?
    Hello,

My mom is taking a school course and has complained of her lack of organization skills. For Mother's Day, I wanted to buy her an entire load of office supplies (pens, Post-its, highlighters, pencils, erasers, binders, paper, subject dividers, etc.) plus a shoulder bag that could hold a few books and notes with dividers and such for the office supplies. Price range: probably 0 maximum; but I'd rather not spend too much in case she doesn't like it.

Would anyone recommend any sort of shoulder bag (leather or nylon)? I'm thinking along the lines of Samsonite products--some sort of portfolio kind of thing with space to organize. The closest thing I've been able to find are laptop cases....which would be great but she doesn't have a laptop. :) I'm at a bit of a loss for search engine terms--any recommended items, websites, or anything else I should include with the bag would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks.....
